So Scott & I have been home shopping for a bit now. We think its a perfect time to purchase a home due to interest rates being so low & homes being so cheap (due to people being desperate to sell them), plus if we purchase one by April we get an $8000 tax break...so we thought should take advantage of the crappy economy. We put in an offer for a home this morning at a home in Saratoga Springs in a private community with a pool, park, gym, boat ramp...so we'll see how that goes.
If this home doesn't go through there are always other choices. Decision, decisions, decisions. This process has made us realize that there is no perfect home out there--you just have to buy a home that you can 'make' into your perfect home. Were just glad that we have family that is going to be kind enough to help us with this. I'll keep you posted...
