Happy Fall!

Vinyard Pumpkin Patch
The fall has always been one of my favorite seasons (when its not too cold).  Every since I can remember my mom would take us to the Vinyard Pumpkin Patch to see the pumpkin patch field, pick out a pumpkin, see the farm animals and go through the small corn maze (I use to love looking at the Indian corn).  It use to be the only place in Utah Valley like this and was FREE (because people would buy a pumpkin & not just take atvantage of the free entertainment).  Now we go with all the grandkids, the only years I haven't gone was when I was away at school (it's only $3 a person--unlike Thanksgiving Point that charges $10!).
I look like a pumpkin in my orange shirt & big prego belly!

29 Years Old?
Yep I turned 29 this past October (maybe thats why I love fall=my birthday).  As usual I told Scott to not spend over $60 and he had to go out and buy me something that I've always wanted, but would never spend the money on....a kitchenaid (the pro version!)  I've already used it multiple times.
My mom and Steve (her hubby) took us out to Tempenyake Steak House....mmmmm & got me a nice toaster oven--which has been so nice to use.

Overall it was a great birthday--well besides having to be 1 year closer to 30!! ahhhh

Happy Halloween!!
This year my mom had a Halloween party for all the kids & step-kids & thier families.  They played alot of 'win-it-in-a-minute' games, everyone dressed up, and had great food.  I was a ladybug...mostly because it was easy to just throw on the wings & headband.  I spent most of the time carving my pumpkin that I didn't take a photo of.
I was excited to see the trick-or-treaters for the first time in our new house.  But due to the University of Utah game we went up to my moms house so Scott could watch it (we don't have cable) & I helped my mom....which is good because she ran out of candy & needed all my candy (since she lives in a nice neighborhood everyone drives up there hoping to get great candy).  I couldn't believe some of the outfits these girls were wearing....don't think it was the same outfit their mothers approved of!
