An Extended Play-Date

Scott & I went to Houston, Texas for a few days to see my brother Brian and his family.  Well mostly we went so we could see each others babies.  By looking at them you would never know that Kadee Lynn is 2.5 weeks older than Kayson.

Houston has the Nations #1 Children's Museum.  I think Scott & Brian had even more fun than the kiddos as they are basically kids themselves...well responsible kids

 We spent a lot of time at the house where the kids were the happiest with all their toys and where they could roam around freely.  The babies played SO cute together, they really did like each other.  Kadee Lynn taught Kayson how to clap and how to be really loud when your happy (I'm sure Crystal will enjoy this at church now).  Kayson taught Kadee Lynn how to bang her hands on the table loudly - which I will appreciate when we go out to eat.  This photo was taken when we first got there so all the toys were put away neatly...we didn't leave it looking so nice.

Enjoying the park.  The park by my house doesn't have baby swings, so Kadee Lynn had never been in one.  She laughed and laughed.

Can't go to Texas without hitting up good BBQ & Seafood - I think Scott would move to Texas just for the Seafood.

It was a quick trip (as trips usually are for us working parents) but lots of fun.  Always good to see family, especially since it had been a year.  I have such a good hubby to use his vacation (and never complain) to go visit my family when I know he would love to go camping or something a little more fun for him.
