Went on a little hike up Santaquin Canyon.  It is just beautiful.  Kadee Lynn loved it.  We didn't get very far because of the water crossings.  Next time Scott will wear his hiking boots so he can just tromp though it (didn't want to try jumping from rock to rock with Kadee Lynn).  We love where we live!

What's a better way to end a hike than amazing ice cream at the Red Barn?  Mmmm that sounds really good...tempting that it's only 5 minutes away!

Time with Family

5 year Anniversary-June 1

I got off half day on our Anniversary.  The plan was to go to Thanksgiving Point as a family, then Scott & I were to go to an early dinner while Scott's parents watched Kadee Lynn.  Well Kadee Lynn's late nap messed everything up.  So we just went the Thanksgiving Point farm -- so romantic huh?  We ended up just getting Magelby's to-go a week later after deciding our schedules just won't match up again without one of us getting off work.

Our Memorial Day Stay-Cation

This was the first Monday holiday that Scott has had off thanks to him working at Fedex now.  It was so nice not having to spend a holiday without him.  Because he had to work the Saturday before we couldnt go anywhere so we thought we would make a day of Memorial day.

Started the day off by cleaning the entire house, shopping at walmart, doing yard work (we wake up pretty early with Kadee Lynn), then went on a family bike ride.  Only lasted about 20 miles because my saddle area isn't use to riding bikes as much and Scott had Kadee Lynn in the trailer.  There are lots of hills around our house - I couldn't even make it up the small hills if I had the trailer.

Played 9 holes at the Nephi Golf Course.  We love this course because it's never crowded, cheap prices, and is beautiful.  Kadee Lynn was perfect - sitting quietly in her stroller until she got to play on each green.  We have tried 2 times since and have not been as lucky, so I don't think we will be golfing with her much anymore.

We love the Payson Pool.  My dad met up with us.  Of course Kadee Lynn fell asleep in the car and was asleep most of the time we were there.  She wasn't in the mood to get in the water after waking up so we just watched all the other kids play and the giant water bucket splash everyone.  Although, she does now love going in the lazy river and saying 'wee' the whole time and of course she loves the toddler area and the little slides.

We ended the day by driving up Santaquin Canyon and just enjoying the beauty that we have so close to us.  Now thats a jam packed day...and so much fun!
