In the life of a 3 month old
Showers in the Bumbo
Too Big for a bath? Yep, Kadee Lynn now LOVES the shower, in her bumbo.... she really doesn't like the bumbo normally, but in the shower...oh she loves that. One day she wouldn't go for a nap, she was screaming for 1 hour straight, so I put her in the shower & she was so happy, smiling, & laughing. I usually let her take a 30 minute shower, and she still gets mad at me for taking her out - silly girl. It's so cute how she gets so excited as soon as the water goes on in her bathroom, she will lay on the floor just kicking her legs & smiling knowing whats coming next.
Her Blanky
My friend Liz from freshman year sent me the softest blankets when I had Kadee Lynn. Well she is so attached to them now. In the car she always has to hold it, and she goes to sleep so much faster if she snuggles her head up to it while I'm holding her or in the bouncer (don't worry she doesn't get to sleep with it). I didn't know babies start having attachments for objects at 2 months.
Snuggles
Well this is MY favorite thing. She just loves to snuggle with me, especially right before & after a nap & makes the cutest "mmm nnnnn" noises.
Tooting
This is not my favorite thing, but it sure does make me laugh. This girls farts are as loud as an adults. We can hear them from our bedroom at night, but they sure do put a grin on her face.
Tummy Time
Kadee Lynn use to HATE tummy time. Now she does quite well thanks to her mirror & puppy (which plays the lullaby song when you pull the tail).
And of course...
Her all time favorite thing that she possibly couldn't live without (besides me :)) is the paci. Here are photos throughout her 3 month lifespan with the paci
3 months has gone by pretty fast, but at the same time it seems like she has been a part of our family for a very long time, and we can't imagine life without her. Her routine is going to change since she will begin going to daycare in April (sob sob). I hope she adapts quickly, as she is quite attached to her mommy (& I'm quite attached to her as well :D). Luckily Scott's & my work schedules are different so she will only have to be there about 25 hours a week. I think it's 25 hours too many, but better than 40 hours that's for sure! As you can probably tell, I'm going to have a tough time going back to work & especially putting her in daycare. Just thinking about it makes me teary eyed....oh the realities of life.

oh goodness she has grown so much! i love all the pictures! she's just so cute and big already, snd i haven't even gotten to hold her. be grateful she likes the paci, and the banket - comfort objects make life so much easier for them... provided you have plenty of them. like one for the car, the house, an extra for when they get dirty... lol.
