A quick trip to Cali

Kadee Lynn = "the plane ride was so fun with so many people"
Me = "flying with an infant is exhausting"

Scott's Grandpa Taylor isn't doing too well so got to fly down for a quick trip to say our final goodbyes while he was still himself.  We thought he was going to pass away pretty soon, but its been over a week and he's still alive, but isn't doing much better.  Scott spent a lot of time with his grandpa growing up so I'm glad he got to see him in the hospital.

Unfortunately the good photo of Kadee Lynn looking was blurry,so this will have to do.

I spent most of the time in the hospital lounge or at his grandparents home.  Luckily we got to spend some time with Heather and Cade, so Kadee Lynn could play with her cousin.

One night Scott stayed with his grandpa in the hospital so I got to go see Kevin, Karyn, & Estelle 50 minutes away.  I was excited to see them since I hadn't seen Karyn and Estelle since March and Kevin since Christmas Break (Kadee Lynns birth).  It was good timing since Kevin was on Fall break.  (Now that we think about it, I should of stayed there the whole time - really no point in me just hanging out by myself at the hospital or grandmas).  Anyways...We went to the beach for a little then to Cafe Rio for dinner and then just played at Kevin's.  Kadee Lynn loved all of Estelle's fancy toys, but didn't like sharing any of her dinky travel toys.  We need to work on her sharing.

 The momma's and their babies
Kadee Lynn loves climbing all over people.  I don't think Estelle liked that very much

Babies take a little time to become buddies.  Kadee Lynn and Estelle seemed to just become BFF's when we had to leave.  I wish we too lived in California just so we could be around 3 of the 4 cousins her age.

The nights in Cali were brutal. At home she wakes up every night and cries for 15-30 minutes. I couldn't let her cry due to waking up others so I tried to soothe her, which would result in her just wanting to play with me. So I got to wake up at 4:30 every morning, and I didn't get day naps like her.  It was good seeing everyone but we were exhausted, and so happy to be home.
