Kadee Lynn turned 1 years old!
On Wednesday she opened gifts at home with mom and dad...none of which she even liked. She simply just threw them at me then went back to her "cooler" Christmas gifts. Only 1, and already ungrateful...I think we will have to change that.
On Christmas she was jealous of Estelle's baby dolls, so she got many babies for her birthday - and she sure does love them. After everyone left, she was dragging them all around. And of course she got more balls, and many other great gifts! This girl is obsessed with balls. I can honestly say she loved all of the toys given to her & has played with them all (even the unopened toothbrush). 6 months ago I was complaining how she didn't have many good toys, now she has SO MANY great toys, she is a spoiled little girl. Her family sure does love her! Now I might have to use some of her birthday money to buy a better toy organizer! I've thought of putting toys in her room, but then she will just drag them back out to the family room (or even worse, leave them in the hallway).

Kallie was VERY excited for cake, for the past hour, she asked me every 10 minutes if she could have cake yet
She mostly just played with the white cake until I gave her a slice of chocolate cake, then she scarfed that up!
I can't believe its been a year so far, I just love my little girl. She has grown up so fast. It just seems like yesterday we were forcing her to have tummy time, and now she is running all over the place! I'm so glad that she got to spend her birthday with her cousins and aunts/uncles. And next year she will get to with Scott's family! The only bad thing is that now she is so use to being entertained that when she goes home she isn't as independent and expects me to play with her the whole time.
