The little reseviour they swam in was very pretty. And we were excited to see the ducks until they came out of the water chasing at us. I had to pick up Kadee Lynn and run away. So when they got back in the water I told Kadee Lynn we can throw pebbles at them if they get close to us so they won't come out again. Don't worry - she doesn't have the best aim, so it just scared them...and I got to work on my skipping rocks, which really has become pathetic compared to the old days at Lake Powell.
We always have fun burrying each others feet in the sand. Kadee Lynn wanted me to take a picture of our pretty toe nails. You can't see her barely pink nail polish in the photo.
"Go daddy!"
"Pappi's slow"
"Go daddy!"
We can't go a triathlon without Kadee Lynn wanting to run herself. She just had sandles so I told her she could only run two times. And of course she biffed.
She wanted me to take a photo of her owies.
Here comes Pappi. He got lost on the run so ended up running double amount. I don't know of anyone who gets lost more than him in triathlons.
I was EXHAUSTED. I'm glad the boys had fun, but us girls were exhausted from lack of sleep. The plan was to go to Cedar Breaks after since I have REALLY been wanting to hike for quite a while. But I was so tired that I just wanted to go home and sleep!
